Fruits, Vegetables and Herbs Used For Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is continued bone loss and decreased bone density.

Usually caused by lack of calcium from the bones, calcium rich and nutrient dense foods have proven to reverse and stop this condition.

Herbal supplements can also be beneficial!

Fruits and vegetables to juice daily:

Pineapple, Avocado, Broccoli, Cabbage, Leafy Greens, Watercress

Herbs:

Alfalfa, Chamomile, Dandelion, *Oat Straw, Parsley, Plantain, Nettle

It's so easy to find organic dandelion tea and have it once a day. While it doesn't taste fantastic, it does the trick!

Sea veggie herbal tinctures (ex. irish moss, kelp, dulse, bladderwack) are great to add to this juice for added minerals for the bones!

A good recipe to try...

  • 2 stalks of broccoli
  • 2 kale leaves
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • 1/3 of a green pepper
  • 4 sprigs of parsley
  • 1 apple
