Fruit juicing your way to good health, a great diet and superior nutrition...
Is it good for you?
It IS a healthy way to add nutrition AND flair to your diet!
How fun is it to have a pineapple strawberry concoction while hanging out at the pool?
Or have an apple-celery drink for your brunch party?
And how about a glass of cucumber-apple for dessert?
The truth is, these drinks are not only cleansing and nourishing, it’s also a pretty great tasting and a fun addition to your life.
It’s unique, because the recipes are made by you, and it tastes like nothing else.
But also don’t forget, those times when you have a urinary tract infection a need some cranberry juice, your faithful juicer will be waiting for you to help out. And you know it! It’s better then what you’ll get in a bottle.
So I know you are probably thinking- fruit contains sugar? How is that good for you?
Yes, it contains sugar. But the sugars found in fresh produce are naturally occurring. They are not processed and stripped of all its nutrients. It contains the life giving vitamins our body needs. Although it contains sugar, it was made for us to eat in pure form. It is not high-fructose or made in a lab. Getting this in liquid form just makes it super digestible for our body systems, and feeds the nutrients in a bit quicker.
One other important aspect is that it contains a large quantity of antioxidants. Antioxidants help rid our body of oxidants. Antioxidants protect us from the damage that oxidants and free radicals cause in our body.
Tips: Fruit’s and vegetables should typically be juiced either as fruits only or vegetable juice only as it is not good for your digestion and could cause flatulence. There are some exceptions. Apples are great to add to your veggie recipes to make it more palatable. I always have apples around, as they seem to be a great addition to any concoction.
For overall health, it is recommended that only 1-2 glass of fruit juice be consumed in one day. Most of your juices should be vegetable juice or a veggie-fruit mix.
