Breakfast smoothies are the BEST thing to have in the morning for these reasons:
I personally try to make breakfast smoothies every morning, when I can.
I usually keep frozen bananas, fruit and greens in my freezer to make it as quick and easy as possible.
And if I'm in a hurry and have no idea what to eat this is a great go-to option. Especially because I know it's healthy and will fill me up for a little while.
Try incorporating these recipes into your breakfast routine for a healthy, yummy way to begin your day.
1 large carrot
1 orange
½ banana
1 fresh or dried apricot
Juice the carrot & orange. Blend the juice in a blender with the banana, apricot and a few ice cubes.
1 small banana
7oz of freshly squeezed orange juice
1oz of sunflower seeds
Throw all ingredients in a blender with a couple of ice cubes and process.
2 servings
2 dates (pitted)
1 cup of almond milk
2 bananas
Place all ingredients in your blender and process on high until smooth. Drink immediately.
1 cup of orange juice
1 mango
1 cup of frozen pineapple chunks
Place all ingredients in your blender and process on high until smooth. Drink immediately.
1 handful of spinach
2 frozen bananas
1 cup of almond milk
2 dates (or honey to taste)
Place all ingredients in your blender and process on high until smooth. Drink immediately.
1 cup of berries
2 bananas
1 cup of ice cubes
Place all ingredients in your blender and process on high until smooth. Drink immediately.
½ cup of blueberries
½ cup of raspberries
1 cup of coconut milk
½ cup of ice
Place all ingredients in your blender and process on high until smooth. Drink immediately.
1 cup of strawberries, frozen
1 handful of spinach (approx ½ cup fresh)
1 frozen banana
½ cup of almond milk
2 tablespoons of honey or agave nectar
Place all ingredients in your blender and process on high until smooth. Drink immediately.
