Green juice recipes for kids is a perfect way to help them get well-balanced nutrients in their diet.
Tips for making green juice: Green juice is something that takes a little creativity for children. Because greens are very nutrient rich and a potent detoxifier, our bodies naturally begin detoxifying a bit quicker with greens then other juices. This is a good thing, but it can make you feel ill if done too fast. You don't want this to happen to your kids, so your best bet when making green juice for kids is to go with milder juices and produce.
If you feel that your child needs to detoxify, their bodies will naturally do it through a good diet combined with any fresh juices or smoothies.
The green juice recipes for kids below are good for children, but don’t overload them with green, especially not at first. A few greens go a long way.
If you are concerned with getting greens into your child’s diet, another good option is green smoothies.
They taste wonderful, and are easier to mask the bitter flavor many greens can have. Also, because they contain fiber when blended, you can include much more greens into the juice then you can with juicing.
Spinach, watercress, lots of parsley, kale and chard should only be used in small doses in green juice recipes for kids. Larger doses in smoothies are okay.

P.S.- Tell them it’s martian or monster juice to get them to drink it :)
1 cucumber
2 apples
1 head of romaine lettuce
Core the apple and cut up the cucumber. Juice together and serve. Add crushed ice on a hot day.
1 cucumber
2 pears
Small handful of watercress or arugula
Core the pear and cut the cucumber. Juice together and serve.
1 cucumber
1 small handful of spinach
1 orange
1 grapefruit
Peel the grapefruit and orange. Cut the cucumber into long slices. Juice together and serve.
4 broccoli spears
½ pineapple
1 tiny bunch of parsley or watercress
Core and cut rind off of pineapple. Juice ingredients together and serve. Dilute with sparkling mineral water to taste.
8 broccoli spears
A few sprigs of parsley
3 apples
Core apples. Juice ingredients together and serve.
1 handful of spinach or kale
2 sticks of celery
2 oranges
Peel oranges, wash spinach/kale and cut celery into manageable juicing pieces. Juice ingredients together and serve. If you think this is too green tasting for your kids, add more orange or dilute it with sparkling water to make it bubbly like soda.
1 cucumber
1 thick slice watermelon
Cut cucumber lengthwise into long strips for the juicer. Cut a thick slice of watermelon, and if your juicer is powerful you can leave the rind on. I do not like to juice the rind (personal preference). Juice ingredients together and serve.
2 stalks of celery
1 apple
4 sprigs of fresh mint
1 kale leaf
1 lime
This is pretty refreshing on a hot day. Juice the celery, apple, kale, mint and lime (peel optional). Serve immediately.
