Q: I just purchased a Breville juicer. Can frozen fruit and vegetables be used in a juicer?
A: Hi Carol! Well, there are many Breville juicers. The one's that I know of are centrifugal. This type of juicer will not be able to handle frozen fruits and vegetables. And the juicers that do (Omega single gears, the Champion) would only be able to handle them when a blank plate is in place, and it's for making treats like sorbet.
If you are wanting to juice with frozen fruits and vegetables, then you won't be able to. It would be very difficult for the juicer to defrost and extract the juice, unfortunately.
Only fresh fruits and vegetables can be used for juicing!
Good luck and congrats on your new juicer! Enjoy it!
