Love the Omega Juicer, hate the service

I have an Omega 8004. It's a great juicer: easy to assemble, easy to clean. Juices the veggies thoroughly...however, I have been trying to get a replacement juicing screen for MONTHS. The juicing screen split and the pulp is now coming out of the split instead of going all the way through to the pulp basket.

Their website has said this part is out of stock for several months. I have had the juicer for less than a year. They keep telling me they will receive the parts any day now. Without this part, the juicer--a $259 juicer is pretty much useless. Is anyone else having this same problem with Omega?
